I'm a sucker for the warm, fuzzy, domestic stuff as well. I like the idea of throwing out more little pieces, but it's probably unlikely. I've got other stories I'm working on, and I'm going to be tied up in RL stuff for the next few months.
Holly gets to be all blithe about being out and proud because she's a kid in a liberal school - it's one of the nice things about the new generation, that gay doesn't come with the same hang-ups and fears that Elliot grew up with (and now works with). It's got to be quite an adjustment for him, big, white, macho man that he is, getting to understand how in one room your sexual orientation is incredibly charged, and in another it's absolutely irrelevant.
