Never knew that Sister Pete was persona non grata in Dr. Squidlove's world... sorry if I was too effusive. For whatever it's worth, the way you feel about her is the way I feel about McManus. That guy shouldn't have been in charge of a shoe store let alone a prison unit... total weakling.
I'm glad to hear that Holly has more to do with this story! I love how you've drawn her to be strong and sure of herself both in spite of and because of her own experiences with Oz and its prisoners (including her father). I was reading another post-Oz fanfic piece where she is not as prominent a character, but is nevertheless emotionally stable and part of a positive outcome for everyone. It's heartwarming to think that people want to see her - a relatively minor character in the show - emerge from the experience emboldened if not unscathed. It might be interesting to see (or write) something about her as a grown woman and Toby in his senior years...
