Yes, the mid-kidnap casualness (as Keller so nicely put it) was weird. If she'd shown any compassion, then distracting Toby with chatter could have been a nice touch, but nope. Mukada was the superhero of that storyline, and he sort of fades off forgotten for it. Toby never knows he pursued Keller for him, or that begged Schillinger for Holly's life.
lol. I do generally like Pete, but these conversations are honing my issues with her, and perhaps lowering my esteem for her.
But that scene where she stands there and lets Toby call her a cunt, I admire her for that. Not sure that it ever changes her, and we certainly don't see her apologise, but I like that she takes it.
